You can play maracas sound by shaking your iPhone. This is nice gadget when you go to Karaoke bar or to entertain small children :-)
We improved the sound effects and by default increased sensitivity to be high (You can still control it from the info panel). Again this is a free application and comments are welcome.
Pros and cons of iMaracas app for iPhone and iPad
iMaracas app good for
I agree with the review that said it sounds like a machine gun. You also have to shake the crap out of your phone for a small amount of sound. These seem like easy fixes for an update though.
To the people that are having problems not hearing the sound... Why dont you try plugging in some headphones? There are no speakers on the itouch so headphones would be mighty effective. Stop complaining its a free app. If you dont like it delete it. You didnt waste money on it, so how is it a waste. I think this is a really good idea and I love playing with my iMaracas. No more nasty reviews. They arent nice.
Its pretty cool for being free. Turn the sensitivity level up for best effects.
These maracas are truly well designed musical instruments, and are not just noise makers. The articulation and smooth sound produced for orchestral style playing is absolutely beautiful and continuous. A lot cheaper than the wooden ones!!
Some bad moments
Worst app I have ever seen, you cant even make a rythem with this
Could be better. It doesnt respond at all like the real deal. There is a serious lag.
You simply cant make a rythm with it, I deleted it immidietly
How did this get an average rating of 2 stars when everyone gave it 1 star?
Doesnt sound like maracas at all, sounds like sand paper on a paper bag.
It isnt speed sensitive. Soft shake, hard shake - they all sound the same. After about 3 shakes I deleted this app.
Why do ppl give 3 stars when it doesnt perform its only function: to sound like a maraca.
